Tradie’s National Health Month
Steel Blue is a proud supporter of Tradie’s National Health Month, an initiative from our partners at the Australian Physiotherapy Association.
Tradie’s National Health Month takes place in August each year and raises awareness of the health and injury risks affecting those who work in trade occupations, among Tradies themselves, their families, employers and the wider community. Despite making up only 35% of the workforce, statistics show that almost 3 in 5 serious workplace injuries involve a Tradie, which highlights that the health of a Tradie must be everyone’s priority.
Steel Blue continues to support this initiative by spreading the word to help Tradie’s take care of their most important asset – their mental and physical health.
To celebrate and raise awareness for Tradie’s National Health Month, Steel Blue partnered with Bisley Workwear and Makita Australia to give away the ultimate Tradie’s must have pack to one lucky winner.
The Tradie prize pack was valued at $900 and included:
- 1x pair Men’s or Women’s Steel Blue boots and 1x pair of Steel Blue Bamboo Socks
- 1x Makita 18V Brushless 2-Piece Combo Drill Kit
- $200 worth of Bisley workwear
Trent P. (pictured) of NSW was the lucky winner that took out the must-have pack. Steel Blue Territory Manager, Matt Anderson dropped the prize pack off to Trent at his workplace this week. Trent was thrilled with the prize and can’t wait to put his pack to good use. Congratulations, Trent!
