The Southern Cross® Zip Ladies Met S3 is a 150mm Lace Up safety boot with a scalloped, padded collar and tongue, plus quick release side zip and Metatarsal Guard. This work boot has been specifically developed for the female foot.
The internal polyurethane Metatarsal Guard, rated to 100 joules of drop force, offers superior impact protection and reduces the risk of injury from impact to this part of the foot, without compromising on our complete level of 100% Comfort.
The tough TPU Outsole is heat resistant to 130ºC and offers Slip & Oil Resistant properties. It also includes an extra tough Penetration Resistant midsole to prevent sharp objects getting through to your foot.
Steel Blue Ladies safety boots are designed just for women and include a shorter ankle length and smaller instep to fit the female foot anatomy.
Crafted from premium Water Resistant Leather, the Southern Cross® Zip Ladies Met includes our Trisole® which has been specially designed to cushion your feet, knees, hips and lower back from day-to-day fatigue.

Strategically placed high-tech Poron® pads are placed in the sole and under your foot’s peak stress areas. We included Poron® in our Trisole® Comfort Technology, which is now the benchmark for safety boots.
Slip & Oil Resistance
All Steel Blue footwear is designed to exceed the Slip resistance requirement in both the AS 2210.3 and EN ISO 20345. Our boots are rated as SRC which means that the footwear has been tested in laboratory conditions on both a ceramic tile floor with a Sodium Laureth Sulfate solution (SLS) and on a steel floor with Glycerine.
