These are the boots used by the ADF’s RAAF techies

This is the best work boot I have ever owned. After months of use, there is still not even a scratch on them. No signs of wear anywhere above the soles and just the tiniest amount of wear on the heal. I used to buy timberland gravel pit boots but the last pair separated at the toe from the sole and timberland refused to honor their 1 year warranty (had them for only 8 months). An Aussie friend of mine told me about Steel Blue and I contacted the USA Steel Blue branch. They did not sell the black Portland toe bump caps over here in the USA, but suggested I contact a seller in Australia which I did. Bought a pair via Paypal and they were here in a week's time, arrived perfectly and they fit my feet better than timberlands. These Portlands are more comfortable, flexible and lighter weight than the gravel pits. There are No signs of wear after all these months and just a teeny tiny bit of wear on the heels. If this were a gravel pit, the heels would have already been worn down more than half way by now! Can't say enough above these awesome boots.
I use these boots for my job which at times includes getting down on the ground on cement, concrete, gravel and dirt throughout each week. Thanks a lot Steel Blue, looking forward to buying a second pair to have as a nice looking pair for non-work stuff like going out to restaurants, etc..
