The Argyle® Zip Bump PR is a 150mm men’s lace-up ankle safety boot combining rugged protection with convenient industrial-grade side zip access. Designed for tradespeople who demand durability and comfort, this boot features a penetration-resistant midsole and a Moulded Bump Cap to protect against impact and abrasion in tough work environments.
Crafted from premium water-resistant Full Grain (Black) or Nubuck (Wheat) cowhide leather, the boot includes double nylon stitching, a padded collar and tongue, and non-corrosive lacing for lasting wear and comfort. The 200J Steel Toe Cap provides ultimate toe protection, while the Anti-static Nitrile Outsole resists abrasion and heat up to 300°C for superior durability.
Lined with soft, moisture-wicking Baltico® material, the Argyle® Zip Bump PR keeps feet cool and dry all day. A full-length polyurethane footbed and heavy-duty antibacterial insole support comfort and hygiene, while the directly moulded polyurethane midsole absorbs shock, easing fatigue.
Featuring Steel Blue’s patented Trisole® Comfort Technology, which uses PORON® energy-absorbing pads to cushion your feet, knees, hips, and lower back, this boot delivers all-day comfort on the job.

All Steel Blue footwear is designed to exceed the Slip resistance requirement in both the AS 2210.3 and EN ISO 20345. Our boots are rated as SRC which means that the footwear has been tested in laboratory conditions on both a ceramic tile floor with a Sodium Laureth Sulfate solution (SLS) and on a steel floor with Glycerine.
