One of our most popular styles, the Argyle® Zip is now available with a Composite Toe Cap. The Argyle® Zip Composite Toe Cap boot is a Men's Ankle Boot with padded collar and tongue for all day comfort. Our lightweight Composite Toe Cap's are a non-metallic alternative to Steel Toe Caps.
Our Argyle® Zip Composite safety boots are great for FIFO and other workers that need to move through security work environments regularly. Composite Toe Caps are Airport Friendly, can be x-rayed, won’t rust and also insulate against heat and cold.
Including laces to ensure a secure and comfortable fit, this safety boot features an industrial grade side zip for convenience. The TPU Outsole of the Argyle® Zip Composite is heat resistant to 130°C and offers Anti-Static properties.
Available in Black or Wheat premium Water Resistant Leather, the Argyle® Zip Composite features our Trisole® Comfort Technology which works to cushion your feet, knees, hips and lower back from day-to-day fatigue.
The one downside is the scuff guard on the toe wears through oddly quick. Unsure why rubber or something that was a bit harder wearing wasn’t used. Will definitely be buying Steel Blue again. Actually quite excited to put them on for the day

Slip & Oil Resistance
All Steel Blue footwear is designed to exceed the Slip resistance requirement in both the AS 2210.3 and EN ISO 20345. Our boots are rated as SRC which means that the footwear has been tested in laboratory conditions on both a ceramic tile floor with a Sodium Laureth Sulfate solution (SLS) and on a steel floor with Glycerine.
