Steel Blue Ambassador, and former North Melbourne AFL player, Glenn Archer, shares his top well-being tips below.

“For me, exercise is so important for mental wellbeing. Too many people only associate exercise with physical wellbeing. While it definitely helps my physical fitness, the main reason I exercise daily is for the extra energy that allows my mind to work better and gives me an overall feeling of wellbeing.”

“Don’t feel you have to be puffing and sweating. You just need to try and start the day with a walk or a slow jog and you will reap the benefits mentally.”

“Try to spend time with positive people who make you smile. I find if I spend too much time with people who are always negative, that negativity rubs off on me. It doesn’t even have to be a human! I love spending time with my dog, he’s always happy which, in turn, makes me happy.
